Do You Need a Website for Your Business?
Straight answers on website vs Facebook, Google visibility, pricing, and getting more local customers online. No jargon.
Facebook is useful, but it’s not a website. When someone’s been recommended you and Googles your name, a Facebook page rarely comes up convincingly — or at all. More importantly, you don’t own it. If Facebook changes its rules, your account gets restricted, or the platform falls out of fashion, your online presence disappears overnight. A website is yours permanently, shows up in Google searches, and gives customers a reason to trust you before they pick up the phone.
That’s exactly what Website Rescue is for. I’ll look at what’s holding it back — speed, mobile display, SEO, the way it’s written — fix what I can, and give you a plain-English report on what changed. If it’s genuinely beyond saving, I’ll tell you honestly rather than just taking your money.
Any small business in Teesside — plumbers, electricians, joiners, landscapers, cafes, salons, dog groomers, independent shops, personal trainers, cleaning services, and plenty more. If you run a local business and want more customers finding you online, I can help. You don’t need to be technical. You just need to tell me about your business.
Websites start from £295 for a straightforward one-page site, up to £695 for a full multi-page WordPress build. Website Rescue is £349. Monthly support plans start from £59 a month. One-off services from £75. Everything is fixed-price — no hourly rates, no surprise extras. See the full pricing page for details.
No contracts, ever. You pay for a website once and it’s yours to keep. Monthly plans are cancel-anytime — no notice period, no questions asked. If it’s not working for you, you can stop. That’s the deal.
A starter site is typically live within 5–7 working days once I have what I need from you — a few details about your business, any photos you’d like to use, and confirmation of what you want it to do. Larger multi-page sites take 2–3 weeks. I’ll give you a clear timeline at the start.
Not necessarily. I write the words for your site as part of the job — you just need to give me the basics about your business. If you have photos, great. If not, I can source suitable licensed images. Your own photos always look better, but it’s not a blocker.
The website is yours. You can leave it running as-is, or take on a monthly support plan if you want someone keeping an eye on it, updating content, managing your Google listing, or handling social media. There’s no pressure either way.
